2011 – Brazos 4th of July Celebration in Waco, TX

It’s that time of the year, ALREADY! Wow, I can’t believe how fast the past year has gone by. I guess it’s true about what they say, “The older you get the shorter the days”!

Every year, the  July 4th bash is a wrap up to the Brazos Summer Concert series that’s held at Indian Spring Park in Waco.

Here’s a run-down on the events for the annual 4th of July Celebration on the Brazos:

- As always, admission is FREE :) – Woo Hoo!
- The fun starts at 6 pm and ends about 10:30
- On the amphitheater stage, the 36th Divison Infranty Band will be performing from 6:30 – 8:30
- at 7 p.m., Carolyn Wonderland will be performing on the mainstage
- The Fabulous Thunderbirds will start at 8:30 p.m. on the mainstage

- HEB Fireworks Show starts at approximately 10 p.m.

As far as the fireworks show, you’ll be able to view the show from dowtown Waco. The fireworks will be shot from northwest of the Suspension Bridge. I personally like viewing the fireworks show from Franklin Ave., it gives a great angle for pictures of the fireworks show over the Suspension Bridge.
